Thanasis Androutsos

I come from the Olympiacos School of Football in Elaionas and, after my really constructive 10-year spell in the Olympiacos Academy, including caps in the UEFA Youth League, I have joined the First Team and currently play in UEFA Europa League, Super League and Greek Cup fixtures.

I joined the Elaionas Central School of Football while a pupil and spent there a total of 3 years where I learnt to love football and sports. Certainly, it meant the world for me, week after week, to play matches and wear my beloved club’s jersey. It was my dream to join Olympiacos’ First Team. I realized it through huge efforts, however I am still at the beginning.

In the School’s context, I attended various social activities run by Olympiacos, I was able to stand next to my football heroes and also perform on the “G. Karaiskakis” pitch before our club’s First Team Championship title fiestas.

The Schools of Football provide us with knowledge and incentives that help us earn valuable experiences and build a personality of our own; these are the qualities that can make us excel both in sports and society.
