Avraam Papadopoulos

Avraam Papadopoulos was born on the 3rd of December 1984 in Melbourne, Australia. He has worn the jersey of the national Greek team, taking part in the World Cup (2010) and Euro (2012), while he has worn the Greek coat of arms on his chest a total of 37 times.
He played for Olympiacos for a total of 11 years, winning nine Greek championships
(2008–09, 2010–11, 2011–12, 2012–13, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2019–20, 2020–21, 2021–22) and four cups (2008–09, 2011–12, 2012–13, 2019–20), during 211 appearances.
Avraam Papadopoulos began his professional career in Aris in 2002 and in 2008 he transferred to Olympiacos, while in 2014 he competed in Trabzonspor. From then on, he played in China and specifically in Shanghai Greenland in 2015, and the following season he competed in Japan with the jersey of Júbilo Iwata. In 2017 he went to Australia for Brisbane Rour and in January 2019 returned to Olympiacos, where he decided to end his great career in the summer of 2022.
In August of the same year he assumed the post of general team leader, while in October 2023, he was appointed technical advisor in the academy of Olympiacos.
