Facing OFI in the Final for the Double

Olympiacos has secured a spot in the Greek Cup final after eliminating AEK with an aggregate score of 6-2.

With the commanding 6-0 victory from the first leg at “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium guiding them, Olympiacos faced AEK in the return match at Nea Filadelfeia. Despite suffering a 2-0 defeat, they advanced to the final with an overall score of 6-2.

In the final, the “Red-and-whites” will go up against OFI, who qualified over Asteras Tripolis. Olympiacos will be aiming for a domestic double in a season that marks the club’s 100th anniversary.

The hosts took the lead in 37’ following an own goal by Carmo, while the final 2-0 score was sealed in 77’ with a direct free kick from Mantalos.
