Before kickoff, as both teams took to the pitch, the entire stadium was adorned in red and white, with a stunning choreographed display created by the fans and the club. Olympiacos entered the field to the sound of their first-ever anthem, wearing a spectacular, limited-edition jersey designed exclusively for this match. The winning goal came in 44’ when Rodinei converted a penalty, which he had won himself after being fouled by Luis. The OFI player was sent off with a second yellow card, sealing a memorable victory for Olympiacos on their historic night.
