Olympiacos’ Youth Team Reaches the Quarter-finals in Europe

The Olympiacos youth team prevailed with a 5-4 score in the penalty shootout (1-1 in regular time) against Sturm Graz in Austria and advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League.

The youth team of Olympiacos achieved a legendary qualification to the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals by defeating Sturm Graz 5-4 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw in regular time, in Austria. The scoring opened in the 62nd minute for Olympiacos with a header from Antonis Papakanellos, while the hosts equalized in the 90+3rd minute through Koïta with a close-range finish.

The “red-and-whites” are now one match away from the Final Four in Switzerland, as they will face Red Bull Salzburg away in the next round in early April (1st or 2nd).
