Olympiacos remains at the top of the table following the 1-1 draw with Panathinaikos at “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium, in MD20 of the Stoiximan Super League. The “Red-and-whites” were better and created chances to score more goals and secure the win. However, playing with a man down for more than half the game proved costly.
Olympiacos started the match strongly and took the lead in the 14th minute when Carmo converted the cross from Rodinei’s free kick. In 37’, Olympiacos protested for a penalty by Palmer-Brown on El Kaabi, and in 42’, Costinha was shown a straight red card in a challenge with Djuricic.
