The qualification for the semifinals of the Greek Cup will be decided in the second leg between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, which will take place at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium. The “Red-and-whites” managed to secure a draw at OAKA with a 1-1 scoreline, despite initially falling behind.
In a balanced match, Olympiacos improved significantly after conceding the opening goal and managed to equalize. They dominated the game and even had chances to secure a victory.
The home team opened the scoring in 51’ after a misplaced pass by Paschalakis. Djurisic intercepted the ball and calmly finished with a shot to make it 1-0. From that point onward, Olympiacos was the better side and equalized in the 75th minute thanks to an impressive solo effort and inside-foot kick by Yaremchuk.
