In their first match of 2025 at the G. Karaiskakis Stadium, Olympiacos triumphed 2–1 over Aris, in Round 18 of the Stoiximan Super League, maintaining their lead at the top of the league table.
Despite dominating much of the match, the “red-and-whites” found themselves trailing after Morón put Aris ahead in the 35th minute. Olympiacos equalized with Kostoulas equalizing in the 50th minute. Two goals were disallowed in the 78th and 88th minutes, while Kostoulas delivered the 2–1 during stoppage time, scoring in the 97th minute. Aris finished the match with ten players after Montoya was sent off for a second yellow card in the 72nd minute.
