Despite controlling the match against Athens Kallithea away from home, Olympiacos was unable to secure the win, settling for the 1-1 draw. This result earned them a single point, keeping them in first place at the top of the league, one point ahead of AEK and PAOK.
Olympiacos came close to scoring early as Rodinei hit the post in 6’. They eventually took the lead in the 69th minute through Kostoulas, but the home side equalized in the 90+2 minute with Giannis Tziani’s goal.
