Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Yusuf Yazıcı. The Turkish international attacking midfielder was born on January 29, 1997, and began his career at Trabzonspor. After playing in the youth teams, he made 120 appearances for the first team, scoring 27 goals and providing 22 assists.
In August 2019, he transferred to Lille, where he played until recently. In the last season, he made 42 appearances, scored 12 goals, and provided two assists. Overall, with the French club, he made 135 appearances, scoring 29 goals and giving 15 assists. During the second half of the 2022-2023 season, he was loaned to CSKA Moscow (12 matches, eight goals, two assists).
With Lille, he won the 2020-21 Ligue 1 title, as well as the French Super Cup (2021-22). He has been capped 45 times for the Turkish national team, with which he also participated in the last two Euros.
