In the side’s first official fixture at G. Karaiskakis for the new season, Olympiacos beat Athens Kallithea by 2-1, for Stoiximan Super League MD2. The red-and-white outfit had the match under control in the biggest part of the match but the visiting team reacted and scored the equalizer; in the end, however, our side took the win and the three points.
For Olympiacos, Velde scored the opener in 14′ and, after Uldriķis tied the match up, it was Yaremchuk who netted the winning goal in 77’.
