Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Lorenzo Pirola. The left-footed Italian defender, born on February 20, 2002, joins from Salernitana, where he has been a regular starter in Serie A over the past two years.
An international player with Italy’s U21 team, where he served as captain, Pirola began his career in Inter Milan’s youth academy and made his debut with Inter’s first team in the Italian Championship in 2020. He was then loaned to Monza for two years, helping them achieve promotion to Serie A.
Pirola has represented Italy at various youth levels, including U15, U16, U17, and U18. He has made 54 appearances in Serie A and scored three goals.
