Olympiacos FC is pleased to announce the signing of Portuguese right-back João Pedro Loureiro da Costa, known as Costinha. The 24-year-old defender was born on March 26, 2000, and began his career in the youth academies of Porto and Braga.
He later joined Rio Ave, where he signed his first professional contract in May 2018. In the recently concluded season, he made 37 appearances for Rio Ave, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
Costinha has played 121 matches for Rio Ave and has represented Portugal at the U18, U19, U20, and U21 levels.
