A stupendous Olympiacos made a first important step for the UEFA Europa Conference League final, beating Aston Villa 2–4 in England, in the first match of the competition’s semi-final stage. The “red-and-whites” presented themselves perfectly ready for the match and proved it on the pitch. They were focused throughout the match and when Aston Villa started pushing, they were prepared and reacted.
Olympiacos was able to lead 0–2 thanks to El Kaabi’s goals in the 16’ and 29’, while Aston Villa tied 2–2 with Watkins and Diaby in the 45+1’ and 52’, respectively. The Legend reacted and formed the final 2–4 with El Kaabi’s penalty in the 56’ and Hezze’s goal in the 67’. The English missed a penalty in the 84’ by Douglas Luis, as he sent the ball out.
