Olympiacos participated in the traditional “Open Day” event of the Metropolis of Piraeus schools for the season. Specifically, the team’s footballer, Andreas Ndoj, attended the Metropolis school in Piraeus and distributed “red-and-white” gifts to the young students. He signed dozens of autographs for both young and old fans of Olympiacos and took photos alongside them.
Together with Andreas Ndoj, who received congratulations from everyone for Olympiacos’ qualification to the UEFA Conference League semi-finals, was Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus, who in his statement emphasized:
“Not only in the stadiums but also in virtue and justice. Because as we said, Olympiacos is an idea that competes for the prize, so I congratulate our players and wish our children to have similar role models in their lives. Because this way, they will acquire the straightforwardness and truth needed to face life’s problems. Thus, Olympiacos is an idea, and sports is an idea, and we should always share these ideas because they are the strength of the soul. Congratulations, and I wish you even more success.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the great benefactor of our Metropolis, President Evangelos Marinakis, whose indiscriminate love and contribution are unparalleled values expressed in space and time; they are not just metaphysical, but are real and tangible here as well. Our high school is a donation from Mr. Evangelos Marinakis. I wish everyone strength and a Happy Easter”.
After distributing the gifts to the children, Andreas Ndoj was guided through the Metropolis of Piraeus schools, along with the city’s Mayor and Vice President of Olympiacos FC, Giannis Moralis.
