For yet another year, Olympiacos FC, in collaboration with the Municipality of Piraeus, organized the Clean Monday event for the citizens of the city and beyond, at the beach of Freattyda. As every year, representatives of the “red-and-whites” distributed thousands of meals with Lenten delicacies, generously offered by the President of Olympiacos FC, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis.
Representing Olympiacos at this beautiful event of the Municipality of Piraeus were Depi Koxenoglou and Nikos Gavalas. The Director of Corporate Social Responsibility of Olympiacos FC, Nikos Gavalas, stated:
“We are here in Freattyda, at this beautiful spot in the Municipality of Piraeus, and at this wonderful event organized by the Municipality of Piraeus, in cooperation with Olympiacos FC and with the tangible support of our President, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis. The citizens of Piraeus and beyond have the opportunity to spend a lovely day by the sea.
There is not much more to say on this day, but I would like to convey the greetings and best wishes of our President, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, and wish everyone a good Lent, and many years of good health”.
As always on Clean Monday, the sky over Piraeus was filled with kites bearing the emblem of Olympiacos, while those who attended the event in Freattyda enjoyed a delightful day with traditional music, and the celebration was complemented by the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Piraeus.
