Olympiacos FC announces signing of Nelson Ighodaro Abbey. The 20-year-old central defender was born in the UK, on August 28, 2003, and after joining Reading’s Academy, he premiered with the club’s First team in September 2020, at the age of 17.
In the 2022-2023 season, he was capped three times in the Championship; he was a regular and the captain of the British outfit in Ligue One, with 23 matches played.
In February 2020, he was called to join the U17 UK National team and in October 2023 he featured in three U20 matches of the “Elite League”.
