In the post-Kifissia press conference at the Kaisariani pitch, Olympiacos coach Carlos Carvalhal said the following:
“I am here looking for respect to Olympiacos. I have been in football for many years and I have never seen anything of the sort that is currently going on with Olympiacos. If there are problems, they must be solved and people in charge to be held accountable. This club has a huge legacy and both the club and its people deserve to be treated like that. We are professionals, working day and night, and we do not deserve to experience such circumstances, like today, or in the fixtures against AEK or Atromitos. However, I am addressed to the people in charge, and I tell them that, as it was the case against AEK and Atromitos, we will return even stronger. We became stronger against Panathinaikos following the AEK match and, today, we won the match against all odds. We are always stronger, today they gave us more power and united us. If this happens again, we shall be even stronger and we shall win again”.
