Olympiacos FC announces signing Ivan Brnic. Born Augst 23rd, 2001, our Croatian winger is an offspring of Hajduk Split academy. He debuted with their First Team in June 2020, and had 7 caps and 1 assist in the top league season of 2019-2020. In 2020-2021 he appeared 5 times and gave 2 assists.
In August 2021, he signs with domestic outfit of Dugopolje, where he featured 26 times scoring 11 goals and serving 6 assists. The following year, he got transferred to Maribor for his first -and most prolific- season in Slovenia. He finished the 2022-2023 season with 46 caps in all competitions (domestic championship and cup, qualifiers of Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) 13 assists and 8 goals scored.
Las year, he was a permanent starter and an integral part of the squad during their Conference League qualifying spell (6 caps, 2 goals and 1 assist), and also played in 1 championship match providing 1 assist in his side’s victorious (0-4) fixture against Radomlje.
Brnic is an international with all U15, U17, U19 and U20 national teams of Croatia.
