Olympiacos FC announces the acquisition of Gustavo Scarpa. The Brazilian midfielder was born on January 5, 1994. In 2012, after playing for Guarani, Santos, Paulínia, and Desportivo Brasil, he joined Fluminense.
In December 2014 he was loaned to Red Bull Brasil, and in May 2015 he returned to Fluminense, wearing their jersey until January 2018, and making 111 appearances, with 16 goals and 25 assists. Palmeiras followed, where he appeared in impressive games, winning titles and personal distinctions.
He made 211 appearances, scored 37 goals, offered 51 assists, and celebrated two Copa Libertadores (2020, 2021), two Brasileiro championships (2018, 2022), two Paulista (2020, 2022), one Cup (2020), and one Recopa Sudamericana (2022).
In 2022 he was named best player of the Brazilian championship and in December of the same year he signed with Nottingham Forest. He made ten appearances with the Reds, six of which in the Premier League. In 2017 he was crowned an international with the Brazilian national team, playing against Colombia.
