Olympiacos took what they wanted against Genk at G. Karaiskakis in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League 3rd qualifying round following our side’s win (1-0). The red-and-white squad made full use of their home ground to make the first step to qualify in the tournament’s playoffs.
The deciding goal was scored by Kostas Fortounis s early as 23 seconds after kick-off, whereas Biel (75’) and Genk’s El Khannouss (90+6’) were denied by the woodwork.
