Olympiacos FC announces signing of Zymer Bytyqi. The Kosovar international winger, born 11 September 1996 in Belgium, signed his contract with the red-and-whites coming from Konyaspor. This season, he played 23 matches with the Turkish outfit registering 1 goal and 3 assists.
He took his first football steps in Norwegian Lura, followed by Sandness Ulf, where he signed his professional contract in January 2012. In August of that year, he got transferred to Red Bull Salzburg and in March 2013 he returned to Sandnes Ulf on loan. In January 2015, he signed a 3-year contract with Norway’s Viking where he was capped 154 times with a tally of 23 goals and 30 assists.
He became part of Konyaspor’s roster in January 2021, featuring in 83 fixtures in total with 11 goals scored and 15 assists produced. He represented Norway by playing in the country’s U15, U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 teams; at a senior level, he was capped 16 times with Kosovo’s National Team and scored once.
