Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest scored their most beautiful goal before their friendly match at “G. Karaiskakis.” The members of the two teams offered their own gifts to the children of the “ELPIDA” Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.
As soon as they arrived at “G. Karaiskakis,” all the players and the coaching staff got off the buses holding a gift to place under the decorated Christmas tree at the stadium’s V.I.P. entrance. The Christmas tree was filled with gifts for young children from ELPIDA, which they will receive in the next few days.
Once again, the two teams proved that football is not only about sport but also about contributing to our society, in view of the festive days leasing up to Christmas.
At the same time, apart from the two teams, the fans of the “red-and-whites” also responded to the call of Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest.
Before the start of the game, the fans left their own gifts at Gate 25 for the children of the “ELPIDA” Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.
Young and old alike passed through Gate 25 of “G. Karaiskakis” and left a gift, offering on their part joy and smiles to young children, giving them Hope for life.
