In what was their last match in the UEFA Europa League group stage, Thursday evening, Olympiacos lost 2-0 to Nantes at the G. Karaiskakis home ground.
Olympiacos were better than the French outfit, especially in the first half, but not sharp enough to convert. On the contrary, Nantes managed to score late in the match with Mohamed and Blas in 79′ and 90′ respectively.
In this match the “red-and-white” line up featured 5 players from the Under team (Tzolakis, Androutsos, Vrousai, Kalogeropoulos and Retsos), and young Sapountzis from the club’s academy was also capped in the second half.
