When we started planning this match, we did not think of using 3 central defenders. We were thinking of having Ba in but his state of fitness was not the proper one. Then, we changed and performed better, and we are going to use that in the fixtures to come. This way, we wanted also to protect Vrsaljko who was at a weaker condition, but we were then forced to change our formation.

The only thing we lacked was to score. In our first match, we paid the price and conceded a goal for every mistake we made. On top of that, Qarabag players have been playing together for a long time, they have the same coach for a long time, so it is not easy to face them.
