A legendary celebration for world-class star Marcelo was organized by Olympiacos to present the club’s new signing. The super star from Brazil got a first impression of the Legend’s fans who kept raining chants on him.
The player entered the pitch with his family accompanied by the leader of Olympiacos Mr. Evangelos Marinakis. When given the microphone to address the crowd, Marcelo was really impressed by the love to him by the “red-and-white” supporters and said:
“Thank you all.
I am happy and so glad to be here amongst all of you.
I am here to help the team with all my power and dedication”.
Then, he thanked the fans again for those extraordinary moments he experienced and continued by saying:
“I can’t wait to start working with the team, but first I have something to tell you. Thank you all. Let’s go Olympiacos”, turning into Greek for his end phrase.
Then, the club’s head honcho told Marcelo “Welcome to Olympiacos and may you stay with us for many years” and he presented the player with his jersey numbered 12, with 12 being his number in the Legend’s squad.
