Olympiacos FC announces that Ui-jo Hwang has joined the club, on loan from Nottingham Forest.
The 29-year-old striker was born on August 28th, 1992, and has been capped 45 times with the South Korean national team with a tally of 15 goals scored.
In 2013 he played for Korea’s Seongnam and, until summer of 2017, he had scored 43 goals and supplied 12 assists in a total of 163 matches.
In June 2017 he signed to Japan’s Gamba Osaka and, in his 2-year spell, he was capped 71 times, scoring 31 goals and delivering 7 assists. He debuted in Europe under the flag of Bordeaux, where he was transferred in July 2019, in a total of 98 matches played, he registered 29 goals and 7 assists.
