Olympiacos FC announces the transfer of American winger Konrad de la Fuente, as a loan by Marseille FC. Born in Miami on the 16th of July, de la Fuente travelled to Spain with his family at the age of 10. He got his start playing at the local team, Damm, joining Barcelona in 2013.
In 2018 he debuted with FC Barcelona B and two years later he made the first team, becoming the first American soccer player who participated in an official “Blaugrana” match. He appeared in two matches with the team, in two Champions League events, and another one in Copa del Rey.
In the summer of 2021, he moved to France and wore the jersey of Marseille, from where he transferred on to Olympiacos. He has represented the US national team (3 participations), while during the last season he appeared in 22 matches with Marseille, registering 3 assists.
