The first leg of Olympiacos against Slovan Bratislava ended in a 1–1 draw, leaving the qualification for the UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE play-offs “open,” with Carlos Corberan marking his debut as the team’s new coach.
Olympiacos were able to threaten the Slovaks during the first half, not reaching the goal, however, with the visiting team scoring the opener in 63’ with Green and Olympiacos making the final 1–1 at 86’ courtesy of El Arabi.
Olympiacos demonstrated, especially during the last minutes of the game, that they can qualify in Slovakia, in the second match which is scheduled for Thursday 11th of the month.
