Our global network of Schools set foot quite recently in South America. The motherland of so many great world-class footballers, Argentina, is now part of the extended “red-and-white” family by means of the Rosario School.
Our local network partners held the official opening of the school that already features more than 500 children, amongst which 90 girls, making up for a very special and ambitious endeavor.
With lots of families attending the official “premiere”, the President Sebastian Franco and Sports Director Guillermo Gutiérrez said:
“We would like to express, once again, our satisfaction and joy for becoming part of the Olympiacos family! We were able to make good use of the recent period under the pandemic in order to introduce even more of our Academy’s coaches into the Olympiacos mindset.
I would like to announce a tournament featuring the Rosario football academies (including our own, of course), and a training camp to be organized coming January.
Before that, a top former player of Olympiacos from Argentina will add his contribution and experience to our school; allow me not to say more about that yet!
Last, we are working on a plan to set up a school dedicated to goalkeepers.
Hurray to Olympiacos!”.
