A press conference was held today, Thursday, November 18, in the event hall at “Nikos Kazantzakis” Airport in Heraklion, to review the government’s actions so far to assist earthquake victims and to plan future government initiatives.
Mr. Vasilis Vasileiadis, President and CEO of the Karaiskakis Stadium, represented Olympiacos FC President Mr. Evangelos Marinakis. He handed over to the Mayor of Minoa Pediada Municipality, Mr. Manolis Fragakis, a dossier containing the contract and construction plans for school classrooms.
Specifically, the President of Olympiacos FC has donated modular home boxes for the General Lyceum of Arkalochori (12 classrooms, 3 restrooms, and 1 office) and the General Lyceum of Kastelli (9 classrooms, 2 restrooms, and 1 office).
The constructions are being carried out according to the specifications set by the State Company “Ktiriakes Ypodomes AE” (Building Infrastructures S.A.) and are expected to be completed in approximately 20 days.
