Presser by the Olympiacos coach:
Olympiacos runs the chance of claiming top position if the side wins tomorrow. However, there is the PAOK fixture next weekend. Does this play role? How are to deal with the Entracht tie?
“Tomorrow, the only thing in our mind will be the match against Eintracht. Sunday’s game will not affect our plans. We intend to use the fittest players to win the match and then we will think about PAOK”.
In Constantinople, Olympiacos made the perfect match. May this be the foundation for tomorrow’s encounter?
“Certainly, we have the same motive. We always aim at earning a good result and playing good football. Opponents are different each time. Tomorrow, we are to play against a side that is in a great shape, they love playing vertical and physical football. We will have to be smart and focused on out tactics. We want to have control of the proceedings and to do so, we have to be smart and keep the ball in order to face Eintracht’s very physical game driven by their great shape”.
What do you reckon about fans returning in an away match, following that against Arsenal?
“We have some great memories with our supporters from that night. We are happy to have them by our side. We know that Greeks abroad are so many, therefore great responsibility rests on our shoulders. We will try to do everything we can to make them happy”.
What’s the ideal position for Aguibou to perform better?
“Aguibou is a player who is agile enough to play in many positions. It is easy for him to adapt to many spots. He believes that he can be better when playing at “8”, but depending on how one wants to break the opponent’s balance, he might be used in various positions”.
What is so dangerous about Eintracht’s qualities following your analysis of the tie?
“In terms of state of fitness, they are a strong side and they play vertically. They are dangerous in counter-attacks, absolutely clinical and overwhelming in vertical football”.
Presser by Aguibou Camara:
You have become now a starter in Olympiacos’ line-up. How do you cope with this amazing take-off in your spell?
“I never expected such a thing to happen so quickly. It is always tough to adapt to a great club. Things went really well for me and the coach entrusted me. I have my brothers in the team who helped me a lot, but you have to know that everything was thanks to hard work”.
Given you have featured in both the midfield and the wings, where do you feel that you perform the best?
“I am not here to share my opinion; I am here to follow instructions by my coach. I will do whatever the coach asks me to do. It is amazing that I will play before so many fans. I am really proud and happy to perform before such a huge audience”.
