There is something amazing taking place in the world of the Olympiacos Network of Schools. The tally of the Legend’s schools abroad reaches 10; Rosario has just become the new member in the big family of Olympiacos.
The land of ball whisperers, the country of the one and only Maradona who honored Karaiskakis with his presence in the past and put on the red-and-white jersey, a place of an astounding football legacy will now have its legendary point of reference.
This is the first Football School of Olympiacos in South America and our 6th in the Americas, along with those in Chicago, Washington, Kitchener, Toronto and New York!
Even in the midst of the pandemic, our School Division never puts on the brakes with Christos Solomou, the immediate assistant of our Director of Schools Network Vassilis Nanos; he kept working on this new partnership until it is completed with Elsa Pitsaki and Nikos Spinos significantly contributing to this end.
Sebastian Franco, the President of Atletico Provencal, in collaboration with which the school has been established, said:
“I became a passionate supporter of Olympiacos after my first trip to Europe; it has been literally a “love at first sight”! I have always wanted to become part of this team in some wat and now the dream has come true. By becoming a part of Olympiacos, we move one step higher and also feel the huge responsibility we now carry. That is, to convey the philosophy and strong dynamic of Olympiacos -one of the world’s biggest clubs- to the children that will entrust us!”.
For his part, Club Secretary Dario Passinato pointed out: “We are really satisfied and proud of becoming a part of the Olympiacos Academy. When the opportunity was given, we didn’t flinch for a second. We are so thrilled to start our work with all these kids and I am certain that the best is yet to come!”.
The Director of Olympiacos Network of Football Schools stressed: “Our aim is to enlarge the Olympiacos’ network of schools and have it always expanding. Both in Greece and across the world, wherever the Olympiacos imprint may be dearly felt. We are so proud that, now, Olympiacos will have its footprint in a country of huge football tradition. Our vision is for both the name and the ideals of Olympiacos to echo in as many locations globally as possible, with more and more children performing with our emblem, the laurel-crowned adolescent, on their chest”.
