In our Nation’s history, 1821 is an iconic date standing for the great struggles fought by Greeks.
Whenever facing hard times and major challenges, we will always be standing in the gigantic shadows of Kolokotronis, Karaiskakis, Nikitaras and other glorious heroes of Hellenism.
The cry for “Liberty or Death” shall echo in our mind every time we have to remind the world that this country -small in size only, yet so grand- gave the world something more than civilization, democracy and sciences to live with.
This country also taught the world what it means to gives one’s life for freedom.
