After Tuesday’s training session, the annual start-of-the-year blessing service for our First Team took place at the Rentis Training Center.
Like every year, before the start of official fixtures, and in the presence of Olympiacos’ leader Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, members of the Administration and FC executives, father Dimitrios blessed the team, the facilities and shared wishes for health and many successes in a great season that is to start.
In his speech to all members of the football team, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis pointed out:
“I would like to wish you all a great and healthy year. May we all stay strong and have the best results, starting with Saturday’s Greek Cup final. We have to do our best and win the Cup for our fans and the entire club. As for the rest, you know very well what you must do. A repetition of last year’s successful season and an even better spell in European competitions; we must apply our faith and strength to overcome the Covid-related hardships and all the problems it had caused to our country and the world.
We have to be together, united and strong just like last year, together as a family all of us. We need to do our utmost and win the championship again; also, we all know by now that we can do better in Europe. May you all be healthy and strong”.
