The leader of Olympiacos along with Mrs. Aggeliki Fragkou and ΙΟΝ SA covered all expenses for 12 patients’ spaces in the new Intensive Care Unit at the General Public Hospital of Nikaia.
In these difficult and critical times of the COVID-19 pandemic that our country and the entire world are going through, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis provides once more a helping hand so that our public health system may cope with the huge challenges that have occured.
The leader of Olympiacos along with Mrs. Aggeliki Fragkou and ΙΟΝ SA ΙΟΝ Α.Ε. donated an amount that exceeded EUR 1.5 million in total to be used for the procurement of 12 fully-equipped ICUs spaces (ICU-specific beds, high-tech ventilators, specific monitors, pumps, defibrillators, etc..), payment of all required installation and room configuration costs, E/M works, health and medical equipment, as well as all additional costs of the additional extension of the Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Mr. Evangelos Marinakis stands up once again to support our country and fellow citizens in need.
The Minister of Health Vassilis Kikilias thanked all the donators for their valuable contribution to support our National Health System that currently faces the most severe public health –related crisis ever.
The aim is to have the Hospital’s new ICU commissioned in 2 months time.
