On detail this is what Olympiacos’ coach said to the cameras of Cosmote TV:
“I’m very satisfied. If our ground wasn’t empty and under different circumstances, we would have got a very good result, since we put our souls in our game. Given the conditions, on an empty stadium, we played very well. We played with passion, scored a nice goal and created opportunities.”
On Semedo being sent off: “The red card changed a lot the image of the match. We had almost 80% possession against a very strong team, who is a candidate to qualify to the Champions League. We lacked on finishing better our initiatives but we stood really well.”
On the 2nd leg: “Honestly, I don’t think Olympiacos’ journey ends here. We’re ready to go to England and to get the qualification.”
