What did Olympiacos lack and thus failed to take something out of the match: “In great part of the match, we were tactically good, Sa was amazing against such a top side, yet we do have the quality in attack for more. Bayern closed all spaces for us to attack and we couldn’t do something more; so, it was our opponent’s quality, yet we could have done better”.
Was that a decent performance for Olympiacos: “In the attack, we could have done better; we faced a really strong side that led us to make mistakes. Bayern has a new coach and their concentration levels were quite. We prep ourselves every week to get the best possible result out of every fixture; it was their quality that didn’t allow us to achieve that tonight. We worked hard on tactical details but they are top class and held us back. We now have to focus on our next fixture against Atromitos which is a very important one. We are proud of our players’ efforts who always give their best”.
