Daniel Podence
On tonight’s match: “The result was probably more fair in the first match. However today we also defended ourselves well and created scoring opportunities. We weren’t able to keep it 0-0 nor were we able to score. That’s football. Unfortunately you don’t always get what you try for. We have to carry on.”
On how he thought the match was judged: “The ‘key’ to the match was not to concede any goals and to try and score by the end. We didn’t succeed in either. The pitch wasn’t the best, it really didn’t help us. On the other hand, it was easier for Dynamo. The referee was always on the opposing team’s side. All this determined the result.”

On tonight’s match: “When we fail to qualify, it’s because of many reasons. We haven’t managed to fix our problems in time. We’ve been kicked out by a weaker opponent. We didn’t prove ourselves to be better on the pitch and so there’s no point saying that we’re better now. Despite all this, we want to progress because we have other goals to meet and we have to look ahead.”
On if any bitterness is felt: “Of course. We didn’t manage to win in the first match and that cost us. We came here different. We all tried to get the desired result. The team deserves congratulations despite all this. We have to keep going.”
On continuation: “Moving forward is a given and we have to continue winning until the end of the championships so that we can take the cup.”
