Vasilis Torosidis:
“Truth be told, apart from the game against OFI in Crete, on the other matches we didn’t deserve to lose point. Both against PAOK and AEK, I think we deserved to win. It was an outburst from the whole team, because again today, mainly on the first half, we lost many opportunities. We were seeing that things were getting difficult and when you don’t score and you have those last results, it’s natural that you feel a little depressed as a person. However, thank God we won today. It really doesn’t matter to me that I scored today, I pay no attention to it. My focus is that the team won and on Monday we have a difficult match”.
Andreas Bouchalakis:
“We entered from the very first minute to get the three points. We knew that the previous game was not so good on our behalf and thus we were decided to show what kind of team we are and that we are the best team. I think we showed it. However, once again we weren’t able to do the easy part, but I think that in the end we made it. We created lots of opportunities to score, I think we played very well and we didn’t give out opponent any hopes to create opportunities. The thing that we keep, in the end of the day, is that we have to make it easier to score from our opportunities, because we’ve been showing our quality”.
Kostas Fortounis:
“I believe on the first half we played better than on the second, but on the second we scored the goals. We played really well during the whole match, but we have to score more because we see that in all matches we create opportunities. At the last moment we somehow ruin it and we don’t manage to score. We got in for good on the fight for the qualification. We have one more game against Dudelange in Karaiskakis Stadium and we want to win it to be in a better position for what follows”.
