Time is already counting down for the 18th edition of Olympiacos FC’s Summer Camp; a camp that’s here to stay!
Hundreds of children from Greece, Europe and the US will be hosted at the Olympiacos squad’s facilities to have fun and learn football’s secrets from top trainers. Main concern for our Football Academy’s Administration is to offer them an opportunity to have fun and be creative.
Boys and girls, from 5 to 16 years-old, will be able to live an once-in-a-lifetime experience. This year’s summer camps will take place from June 25th to June 29th and, apart from football and similar activities, will include various offerings to all children. Lots of surprises will be the order of the day for those kids who will select Olympiacos FC’s Summer Camp.
This course -to be delivered mainly by Olympiacos Academy trainers- includes training modules and skill-improving games; additionally, goalkeeper-specific courses will take place.
Beach Soccer and foot-tennis
This year, the summer camp’s agenda features training at the new beach soccer pitch, coupled with special muscle-strengthening exercises and foot-tennis drills for technical skills improvement.
Psychology-Nutrition Seminars
During Summer Camp, Psychology-Nutrition Seminars will also be held. By means of engaging children into easygoing chats and games with experts, they will get the chance to collect useful information on their nutrition and psychology, both essential components of a modern athlete.
Theoretical courses
During the course, trainers will deliver theoretical courses to children on football rules and regulations, hygiene, recycling, fair play and the history of OLYMPIACOS.
Ergometrics
A significant Olympiacos offering to children who will apply for the 2018 Summer Camp 2018 is the delivery of ergometric tests! In collaboration with ergometering lab “Life-Ergo”, Olympiacos will offer full ergo evaluation for children of 8 years-old and above.
Meeting history
Children taking part in this Camp will get to meet both the king of sports and the history of Olympiacos. The course already drafted includes transports from Rentis to “G. Karaiskakis” and back, a tour in the stadium’s premises and surrounding areas, our beloved club’s museum and First Team training facilities in Rentis. Our young athletes will also attend a seminar on the club’s history, and take pictures with their cameras of all amazing moments they will experience.
