Our objective was clear: first of all, to create a problem in Sporting’s psychology and then in the field. Unfortunately, those four minutes was a huge blow for us psychologically and it was difficult for us to react. However we must admit that we were facing a very good.”
-On what remains from this match: “The UEFA Champions League is many things. It’s the competition where everybody understands that mistakes cost a lot. It’s a competition with a very high level of teams. We have an objective problem not only for Olympiacos but also for Greek football in general: that the rhythm of the matches in the two competitions we’re in, the Greek League and the UEFA Champions League, are completely different. If we want to get much better in these matches, we have to see how to get the features in our game that will bring us closer to the European standards. This is a general discussion.
