From the very first moment when Olympiacos set out to help tackling the huge problem in the area of Madras, Attika, Evangelos Marinakis’ order was that aid to those affected by deadly floods will not cease for as long as it is required! So, for the 3rd day, the Legend was present in the area to provide substantial help wherever this is needed.
House cleaning efforts continued on Sunday as well. Machinery and gear provided by Olympiacos, and the Municipalities of Piraeus and of Moschato-Tavros, always in coordination and cooperation with Mandras-Eidillias mayor Ioanna Kriekouki, called on local slum houses and kept cleaning up their yards and pavements; a helping hand in this battle fought by Mandras residents to save their houses…
Moreover, Olympiacos water tender went for the 2nd day to Mandras cemetery and helped clean the place up, so that all 10 funeral services of local flood victims may be carried out properly. Olympiacos water tender, and those from the Municipalities of Piraeus and Moschato-Tavros, stayed there to clean up squares, streets and pavements in the wider area
Olympiacos efforts will carry on during following days, as well aid to Mandras inhabitants will not cease. Olympiacos takes care of the hardships our fellow-people are going through, offering substantial and tangible support.
