As instructed by Olympiacos leader Evangelos Marinakis, Olympiacos FC collected a huge quantity of foodstuff, bottled water, daily necessities to be promptly sent to the Municipality of Mandras-Eidillias. All these basic essentials will be swiftly distributed amongst those hit by deadly floods of previous days that took a high toll on human lives!
A “red-and-white” delegation, led by “Karaiskakis SA” CEO Vassilis Vassiliadis, including staff from the Olympiacos Training Center, “Karaiskakis SA” and Olympiacos FC, went, Friday afternoon, to the Mandras-Eidillias town hall to deliver these supplies to be distributed to those local residents affected.
However, it is equally important that Olympiacos FC opened the Rentis Training Center warehouses to add clothing and footwear to this “red-and-white” aid for the people in Mandras. Temperature drop follows ongoing rainfalls and strong winds, which makes said aid by the Olympiacos FC equally important for our fellow people. Moreover, our Club will complement the abovementioned materials with macs, rainouts, shovels and other tools, blankets and items to keep warm all those fighting under adverse circumstances to save their property…
Olympiacos shows also the way in the field of Social Action. Our Club offers help to our fellow citizens in need all year around and not just on “specific occasions” and emergencies. Olympiacos FC works grows bigger year after year and help to society is greatly amplified. This is the only way, after all…
It is worth mentioning that today’s action on behalf of Olympiacos is not a one-off thing. Our Club is in constant communication with Major of Mandras-Eidillias Mrs Ioanna Krikekouki, so that this effort continues on the coming days. So, starting tomorrow (Saturday) and for some time, Olympiacos FC will be sending to the Mandras Town Hall even more aid to be distributed and be added to the existing help to those people who need us. Once again, pays attention to those people in need and provides them with immediate and tangible help and, thus, relief!
