Olympiacos FC and FC Barcelona will cross their swords on the G. Karaiskakis pitch in the context of the UEFA Champions League group stage for a mere 90 minutes; as outside the field lines, both Clubs are united by their significant partnerships with UNICEF, for the well-being and safety of children across the globe. Olympiacos and Barcelona have shown great commitment the past years to support UNICEF in their great cause for children compromised and in need around the world.
Since 2013, Olympiacos has been supporting UNICEF’s mission to vaccinate hundreds of thousands of children in Greece and abroad, as well as to train thousands of health care workers. Starting this year, the club will contribute to UNICEF’s massive campaign to help end preventable deaths of newborns and ensure that every child has the necessary nutrition and health care to grow and develop in their early life stages.
