It’s frequently stated that the best conversations, the most important decisions and also the most constructive ideas come in a… more relaxed atmosphere than the one of an office or a conference room!
In full compliance of the worldwide famous Greek hospitality, Olympiacos continued offering it generously to the participants of Harvard conference, who are in our country after the closing of the conference’s first day in Karaiskakis Stadium. On Tuesday night, they served a fabulous dinner in “Varoulko” restaurant, in Mikrolimano, with the beautiful sea of Piraeus on the background!
A while after 9 pm, Mr. Marinakis’ and the Legend’s guests, scholars from all over the world, arrived at the restaurant. There, they had already waiting for them many members of Olympiacos FC. Having been made the necessary introductions, all present sat at their tables and started talking again about soccer, sports in general, and the way in which sports and specially their king, the most popular of all, can help our fellow citizens to be able to integrate nowadays society and to tear down the walls!
Present, besides the conference participants and the members of Olympiacos FC, were Antonis Nikopolidis and Lilian Thuram, who will participate in Wednesday’s speeches and meetings, in Karaiskakis Stadium. Seizing the opportunity, Lilian Thuram and Mr. Stephen Ortega wished to send brief greetings to all who were there.
Both expressed their immense satisfaction for the first day of the conference and for the progress made during the panels. They wished to thank in particular Olympiacos, and also Mr. Marinakis, for the wonderful hospitality, inside and outside the stadium. They also stressed that the second day of the conference is being awaited even greater interest, in order to discuss even more interesting and crucial issues regarding the soccer world, always in connection with the people!
