Thanks to a Manthatis goal (66'), the Legend beat Sparta (1-0) and by means of a 3-match winning streak qualified top of the table to the Greek Cup 2nd round.

Thanks to a flawless run of victories, 3 out of 3, Olympiacos brought this stage of the side`s spell in the Greek Cup to a happy ending. Our team saw local outfit off by 1-0 in their Sparta home grounds for Group B`s last MD and finished first with a total of 9 points.
