“Soccer as a Global Phenomenon” will be co-hosted by Olympiacos, Harvard University in Boston and Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, and will be an utterly… football conference! The Legend, representing – in any way – Greek football abroad, will cross the Atlantic once again and together with the prestigious University of Massachusetts, will deal with globalization as expressed through the most well-loved sports on the planet: Football!
Representatives of the Legend will be in Boston, where Harvard is, for three days and will contribute to the organisation of this important conference, through presentations and more. The conference will focus on the spreading of football, the way it affects people and society and during its staging (between April 14-16) there will be many lectures, presentations, addresses and discussions about the “king of sports”.
Olympiacos always holds the football banner of the country high, representing Greece on a top level, outside Europe this time. Harvard, a renowned American teaching education, will welcome the Legend of Greek football and develop the conversation surrounding the global influence of football on life overall, as a giant network of collaborations and international relations, both professional and personal.
