Olympiacos is a club who constantly proves its position against all forms of discrimination and racism, through its initiatives both on and off the pitch!
Our club participated again this year in FARE’s “Football People” campaign that started on October 8th, with the active participation of our players and the coach of the club!
The Olympiacos coach Mr Marco Silva together with Brown Ideye, Dimitris Siovas, Felipe Pardo and Andreas Bouhalakis were photographed wearing FARE’s t-shirt which bore the title of the “Football People” campaign and hence the message against racism and discriminations. It’s a message that was spread everywhere through the official social media accounts of our Olympiacos!
At the same time, matchday 7 of the Super League, during which the Legend won AEK 4-0, was dedicated to FARE’s campaign with all players showing racism the red card during the line-up on the pitch and before the kick-off of this important match.
Finally, matchday 3 of all European competitions of UEFA was also dedicated to the “Football People” campaign. Before the kick-off of our side’s away match against Dinamo in Zagreb, the players of the two teams mixed up during line-up while holding a banner reading “No to racism.”
