The Olympiacos players were energetic from the beginning and managed to score the opening goal in the 13th minute with Benitez. Our side kept pressing and in the 39th minute Fortounis, shortly after entering the match, scored 2-0!
Our Olympiacos dominated the second half as well and this superiority was translated into a third goal. This time the scorer was Dominguez (57′) who scored a most beautiful goal.
The match now had a procedural character and Mitroglou scored two goals: in the 80th minute he netted the ball with a shot and in the 85th minute he took a successful penalty kick. This was the final 5-0 score for our side!
